대전은 시민들에게 또 한 번 행복을 선물했습니다. 2017 서구힐링아트페스티벌은 다양한 재능을 가진 요리사와 연예인, 예술가들을 사로잡았거든요.
Daejeon has brought happiness to it's residents once again. The 2017 Seo Gu Arts Festival hosted a variety of talented cooks, entertainers, and artists.
대전시청부터 샘머리 공원까지 천막 부스가 이어졌는데요. 부스마다 먹거리와 수공예품, 예술품들을 선보였습니다. 가수들이 아름다운 노래를 부르고, 춤꾼들은 특별한 스타일의 공연을 선보이고, 버블 마술사는 구경꾼들을 놀라게 했습니다.
A plethora of tents lined the streets from City Hall to Semori Park. The tents offered food, hands on crafts, and artworks. There were a few stages where singers sang angelic songs, dancers performed with unique styles, and a bubble magician amazed onlookers.
산책로는 수백가지의 아트장식품으로 꾸며져 밤을 가득 채웠는데요. 수천명의 방문객들이 사진을 찍기위해 이리저리 거닐고 있었습니다.
The walking path was decorated with hundreds of ornaments, which lit up at night. Thousands of visitors could be seen strolling through and stopping for photos.
밤에는 LED 장미들이 산책로를 밝혀주는데 도움을 줍니다.
LED roses help to light the walkway during the evening.
축제기간에는 많은 갤러리들이 운영됐는데요. 아티스트로서 사람들에게 예술작품을 전달하는 훌륭한 방법이라고 생각합니다. 이 멋진 작품을 모두 보는데 이틀이나 걸릴 것입니다.
There were a lot of makeshift galleries set up throughout the festival. As an artist, I feel that is a brilliant way to bring the artwork to the people. It would take one a couple of days to view all of the magnificent work.
몇몇 예술가들은 방문객들이 즐길 수 있도록 공예품을 만드는 시범을 보였는데요. 작가 이홍 씨의 캘라그래피는 참 훌륭했습니다.
Some artists demonstrated their craft for visitors to enjoy. The calligraphy of Hong Lee was wonderful to see.
그림, 도자기, 보석들은 전시된 훌륭한 작품들중 일부이고요. 사람들이 그 작품을 구입해 집으로 가져갈 수 있었습니다. 만약 엄청난 수의 훌륭한 예술작품들이 있었다면 하나를 고르는게 어려웠을 것 입니다.
Paintings, ceramics, and jewelry were just some of the fantastic work on display. One could purchase some of the work to take home with them. However, with the vast number of great artworks, it would be difficult to decide on just one.
버블 마술사는 아주 놀라웠는데요. 여러가지 방법으로 거품을 만들자 구경하는 사람들 사이에서 와~소리가 들렸습니다.
The bubble magician was jaw dropping. With a number of wands and methods to create bubbles, one could hear oohs and awes from the closely watching visitors.
축제 후에 저는 이번 서구힐링아트페스티벌의 목적이 무엇일까 깊이 생각했는데요. 페스티벌 현장에 있는동안 매우 행복했고, 오랜 시간 아주 편안해다는 것을 깨달았습니다. 서구힐링아트페스티벌은 하루를 알차게 보내는 훌륭한 방법이었습니다.
After the festival, I though deeply about what the purpose of the healing arts festival was. I realized that I felt extremely happy while I was there and very relaxed for a long time afterwards. The Seo Gu Healing Arts Festival is a great way to spend a day.....or more.
